Tag Heuer announces the Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Singapore Grand Prix Limited Edition watch in honor of the first Formula One night race in Singapore.
The Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Singapore Grand Prix Limited Edition will only be available in Singapore in a limited series of 150 pieces. Each exclusive timepiece will be presented together with a limited edition book titled “Snakes and Devils”, compiled and authored by motoring enthusiast, Eli Solomon. The book pays tribute to the history of the Singapore Grand Prix.

Bell & Ross introduced the BR 01 Instrument PRO TITANIUM. The new BR 01 features a rubber strap and ultralight titanium case.
The INSTRUMENT BR01 PRO TITANIUM case takes its inspiration directly from aeronautical construction techniques. The bezel and upper plate with its angled ribs make the case even more solid and emphasize the high-tech architecture of the watch.

The new James Bond movie Quantum of Solace release draws closer. Omega now announced a limited edition Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean carrying the Quantum of Solace James Bond signature on the dial.

I at a happy place in my life as I am now a owner of a Tag Heuer Monaco Automatic Chronograph CW2113.FC6183 - the blue Steve McQueen's Monaco. Back in 2004 I wrote the first time about the Tag Heuer Monaco on Wrist Dreams. I was in love with this classic square beauty already back then.
Tag Heuer introduced the first Monaco in 1969. It was the first water-resistant chronograph with a square case. In 1970 Steve McQueen made the Monaco famous wearing it in the movie Le Mans. There are several versions of the Monaco available today from Tag Heuer, but for me only the blue one is really the one.

Why I am so attracted to the Tag Heuer Monaco is difficult to describe. It just looks perfect and it looks perfect on my wrist. Even if Steve McQueen would have not worn it, I still would love this watch. The Monaco also makes quite an impression on others as it shape combined with the blue dial and strap stand out.

Hysek offers the X-RAY Perpetual Calendar mechanical master piece in a unique design. The Hysek X-RAY Perpetual Calendar features as the name indicates a perpetual calendar function. You can see some of the inner workings through openings in the dial. The case of the X-Ray is made from 18k rose gold.

Swiss Rama Watches (RSW) introduces the oversized limited edition Nazca G Power Reserve. RSW already impressed me with the Outland announced at the BaselWorld 2008.
The new Nazca G Power Reserve features a huge steel case measuring 49mm. The Nazca has a Sapphire crystal glass and crown with patented fold-out crank system. The screw-down case-back also has a sapphire crystal window.

Urwerk unveiled the new black platinum UR103 HEXAGON limited edition watches. Only 10 pieces will be available in the color black.
Urwerk has been founded 10 years ago and raised quite some attention with their unique watch designs. We reported this year about the Urwerk UR-202 Turbine Automatic featuring the patented revolving satellite complication and the innovative new winding system regulated by compressed air.

Swiss watch maker Swatch announces a new James Bond inspired watch line featuring the legendary villains of the secret agent series.
The Swatch 007 Villain Collection will be released in early September. The Swatch 007 Villain Collection is a tribute to the entertaining villains who light up the dark side of twenty-two James Bond films, from Dr. No to the forthcoming Quantum Of Solace.

Casio announces new "tough and elegant" Baby-G watches for women dubbed G-ms Octra. The line-up includes six new watches with the major model numbers MSG-5000 and MSG-1500.
The chronograph inspired G-ms Octra have three additional analog displays.

The Citizen made independent brand watches are quite cool with their retro look.

The Retrograde Dualtime features a Citizen analogue movement with hours, minutes and seconds presented in the centre of the watch beneath the uniquely shaped lens. A 24 hour clock is featured in an originally designed window at the bottom of the face and the date is displayed in the small window at the top.

Japanese TokyoFlash offers 5 new watches in the Nekura Analogue line. The "Mood Enhancing Watches" include the Cabriolet, Tumbler, Tundra, Transceiver and Twilight.

The Cabriolet features a speedometer inspired dial with a contrasting avocado and black finish and comes with a stylish shaded effect on the lens, partly eclipsing the dial.
