Baselworld 2010: Most Accurate Watch In The World Bulova Corporation intros what it claims to be the most accurate watch in the world

Swiss-based Bulova Corporation has announced that it now has the most accurate timepiece in the world with a continuous sweeping second hand and a brand new under-the-hood technology that ensures unmatchable precision.

The quartz crystal-encrusted watch series, entitled the Precisionist, is accurate +/- 10 seconds a year. Most watches have a 15-second-per-year variance.

"The importance of accurate time measurement cannot be understated. In horseracing, a horse wins by the tip of a nose, in swimming, the slightest touch of a fingertip ahead of a competitor can earn a gold medal," said Bulova president Dennis W. Perry.

The Precisionist collection will range in price from around $300 to $1,000. PR photos have not yet been released.
