Baselworld 2010: Patravi EvoTec PowerReserve New sporty watch from Carl F. Bucherer puts emphasis on power reserve

It's not often that a watch's main feature is a display that shows how much power is left in the power reserve, but this unique piece does just that. It's even named after the feature: the Patravi EvoTec PowerReserve.

The device has automatic movement, a steel or gold case, sapphire crystal, and water resistance up to 50 meters. There's a day window at 9:00 and a date window at 11:00, as well as a small seconds counter at 6:00.

The most unique thin, though, is the power reserve meter at 3:00. With bold coloring and an attractive display, it kind of makes us wish that this was indicating something a bit more exciting.

The price is around $15,000.

This piece is on display at the annual Baselworld trade show in Switzerland. Keep checking back to Wrist Dreams for the latest previews and news from the show.
