Wheels, drum, articulated shaft among the pieces that make the unique Cabestan Nostromo move
This certainly doesn't look like a watch, but it is. A series of gears on the inside show the time at the upper-left of the case. It's one of those technologically-captivating devices that is more about display than function.
The Cabestan Nostromo also undergoes a transformation at dusk: "a fine phosphorescent coating inside the bridges, windows and surfaces of the movement diffuses a yellow-green light that illuminates the mechanism and spreads over the strap, creating an almost supernatural effect," according to the official product description.
This piece is slated to be on display at the annual Baselworld trade show in Switzerland, which opens tomorrow. Keep checking back to Wrist Dreams for the latest previews and news from the show.
