Baselworld 2010: Septagraph Perpetuel Borgeaud Watches Switzerland to debut exclusive "horologic complication"

Borgeaud, which has been in the watch industry since the 19th century, is showing off its newest timepiece, the Septagraph Perpetuel. Emblazoned in gold and with brass Roman/Arabic Numerals on the dial, this is a device sure to catch anyone's eye.

An intriguing feature of the Septagraph is that half of the numbers (1 - 3 and 9 - 12) are in Roman numerals and the other half (4 - 8) are in Arabic. Combined with a small counter between 7:00 and 8:00 and it is a unique dial, to be sure.

Borgeaud calls the new piece "a tribute to our collective history, a way of life for initate." Ah, these luxury watch companies and their elegant phrases.

This timepiece is slated to be showcased at this month's Baselworld convention in Switzerland. Keep checking back to Wrist Dreams for the latest previews and news from the show.
