Baselworld 2010: H8 Sculptura Marvel at the mechanical design in Haldimann Horology's latest device

This watch, which the company even goes out of its way to call "a far cry from today's electronic gadgetry," gains its notoriety in the extremely complex construction from traditional tools. It employs a hand-wound movement with hand-engraved materials.

There are no time indicators on the dial, simply a scratch-resistant crystal that displays the intricate inner-workings of the clock mechanisms.

The H8 Sculptura has already won the Gaia Prize of 2009, a prestigious jewelry award.

Expect this precious piece to retail at well over $15,000.
