Highly unique watch design commemorates LUC's 150th anniversary
There's never any shortage of unique and compelling watch designs, and this latest one from LUC, the Engine One Tourbillon, is no exception. This bold and distinctive watch has a hand-wound, manufactory-made L.U.C 1TRM tourbillon calibre movement and is COSC-certified (a distinction that only 3% of Swiss watches carry).
The Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 seemingly float above the brushed titanium underneath, and a power reserve meter sits at the top with a speedometer-like design. A small counter at the bottom looks like a steering wheel, giving this watch its namesake.
The watch is also water resistant up to 50 meters.
As a further tribute to LUC's 150th anniversary, production of this unit has been limited to 150.
This timepiece is slated to be showcased at this month's Baselworld convention in Switzerland. Keep checking back to Wrist Dreams for the latest previews and news from the show.
