Baselworld 2010: El Toro 160-year-old watchmaker Ulysse Nardin has another intricate timepiece

Marine chronometer maker-turned watch company Ulysse Nardin has introduced the El Toro watch, an impressive-looking device with a bold brown-and-bronze case. Under the hood is an automatic, UN-32 calibre, white gold rotor ticking the minutes away, and a unique series of dials tells the month, date, day of the week, and year in the middle of the face.

This robust watch is water resistant up to 100 meters, comes with 18K gold or platinum casing, and has anti-reflective sapphire crystal on the front and back. In fact, the back of the watch is even so cool that we had to include a picture of it. You can see it after the jump...

Production is limited to 500 pieces. All I can say from looking at this watch is...cool!

This timepiece is slated to be showcased at next month's Baselworld convention in Switzerland. Keep checking back to Wrist Dreams for the latest previews and news from the show.
