Austrian watch maker Laks unveils the world's first wristwatch with integrated DVB-T TV tuner. At first I thought this is another take of a wrist TV watch, which is dearly needed, after the
NHJ demise in 2005, but the Laks DVB-T TV watch does not have a display.
The LAKS TV watch connects via USB to a PC or Mac and you can watch digital terrestrial Television.
A high-performance, low power DiBcom chipset is at work inside the sporty, elegant LAKS TV, providing optimal reception features despite its minimal space requirements. The LAKS TV software and Elgato EyeTV Lite package supplied enables the reception, recording and time-lapsed play back of digital television on both a PC and a Mac.
The Laks DVB-T TV watch comes in two styles and sells for 149 Euro (~$233). Right now Laks offers a 50% discount with the coupon code A23VZ6D3 untile April 30th.
