Garmin announced the Forerunner 50 sports watch today. The Forerunner 50 is the only sports watch with automatic wireless sync that helps runners and walkers track their workouts.

The Forerunner 50 can track up to seven hours and 100 laps of detailed data. The Foot Pod accessory can track how long you run on a treadmill or how you walk in a day at work. The Forerunner 50 watch and ANT USB stick cost $99, the watch with the ANT and foot Pod retails for $149 and the watch with ANT, Foot Pod and Heart Rate Monitor goes for $199. The new Garmin Forerunner 50 will ship in October.
