The master craftsmen of Lottermann & Söhne from the Germany city of Mannheim present the Blancier Worldtimer 1. Their self-designed mechanical timepiece shows all 39 of the world’s time zones at a glance and took 2 years to develop.
Lottermann & Söhne took into account the ‘out-of-step’ time shifts like for India. In India the difference from Greenwich Meridian Time is plus 5.5 hours.
The dial shows a polar projection of the Earth that rotates 360 degrees around the hand axis every 24 hours. The color scheme of the zones, the indications of hours and half hours on the outer ring around the dial allow you to see the time in any time zone in the world at a glance.
The Produced in a 42mm steel casing with a rhodium-plated or gold-plated BWT 1 movement and a crocodile skin strap, this handmade masterpiece is priced at $13,450. Produced in a rosé or white gold casing, it is priced at $20,185 and $24,225 respectively
