Japanese Equalizer BPM Watch counts Beats Per Minute The Equalizer BPM watch has the usual time and date displays, but also has a mini flashlight built in and as the main unique feature can count Beats Per Minute (BPM).
Pressing the central D button for a moment enters BPM mode and subsequent tapping of the button to a rhythm allows the watch to measure the frequency of the beats and then display it on the backlit LCD screen.
You need to tap at least 5 times for the BPM to show, but you can keep tapping and the watch will average out your last 5 taps to display the BPM.The BPM counter has a working range of around 24BPM up to 199BPM.
Of course it would be more convenient if the BPM watch would use a microphone and pick up the beat from the music in a club or from the radio.

The mini-torch is a nice addition to this watch and the overall look is also quite good.
