Japanese watch store Tokyoflash offers the new Mugen by Futara watch.
Mugen (meaning "infinity" in Japanese) is available in either Black or Silver & with a mirrored blue LCD display it tells the time via a series of spiraling blocks. Around the outer edges are 60 segments, indicating 1 minute each. They are grouped in 10's so it's easy to tell the time at a glance. The inner spiral of blocks represent 1 hour each.
Since the display is "always on" there is no need to push a button to see the time.
This watch also has an animation feature. Once a minute, the display spirals all the way off & all the way on, then settles back onto the current time.
With a weight of only 60g the Zero-G is comfortable to wear. The metal wristband is only 1.5mm thick.
Mugen is available from
Tokyoflash.com now for just 9800 yen ($84) plus shipping.
