Balykin watch uses digital sand grains for time For that 14th Century pirate in all of us, Balykin Design has created a wristwatch that looks like a digital hourglass, one of the most primitive forms of timekeeping. The default it set that the "sand" will fall at a rate of one side per minute, but to make it even more difficult to tell the time, that can be changed to various other amounts of time.

It can also be toggled to a normal time view that shows the hour in the top side and the minutes in the bottom. It looks cool and yet I don't think I'd ever wear it in public. More details on the Balykin Design site. Via Pop Gadget
