For the types who collect the latest and the most unique looking technology, this one’s for you.  The Digital Hero Waterproof Wrist Camera is waiting for you to wrap it around your wrist and dive up to 30 feet under water.

This, for lack of a better description, 360 low-resolution monstrosity of a device (such an eyesore that it’s almost cute) is recommended, not only for underwater exploration, but for surfing and skiing.

Tonneau Tourbillon-Style Automatic Wristwatch Sale Sharper Image slashed the price of the Tonneau Tourbillon-Style automatic watch down to $199.95 from $399.95.

The Tonneau Tourbillon-Style Automatic from WM of Switzerland features a 35-jewel self-winding mechanism. Sharper Image says this watch is virtually indistinguishable from a $20,000 timepiece.

One interior dial indicates the day; another, the month. The date appears in a small window. The strap is genuine calf leather. The Tonneau case is 40.7 mm x 43.5 mm x 15.9 mm; it is water resistant to three ATM (50 meters). It has a two-year warranty.

The new SBHL003 joins the Seiko’s Ignition line. What distinguishes this model from all the others is its classic analog time display. The inner dial is an LCD used for timing and alarm features. Also, the stopwatch has clear-cut resolution of 1/1,000th of a second similar to the Seko Sportura SNJ005 and the TAG Heuer Microtimer.

People will soon be wearing watches that warn of solar storm strikes, which would result in likely power blackouts, stated space storm experts at the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington DC.  This would allow them to shut down any critical systems.

The Sun’s 11-year rotation of activity will be at its violent peak this year and US officials are "anticipating a higher frequency of more severe storms this year."

Abstract LED Watch JLr7 by e35 by Tokyoflash Japanese LED Watch shop Tokyoflash offers a very abstract new LED watch from e35 dubbed JLr7.

The watch is all brushed, gunmetal black stainless steel with either blue or green LEDs. The all black crystal face has a repeating geometric pattern which displays a computerized animation sequence with a random pattern of lights and then displays the time when the button is pressed. Between 6pm & Midnight the watch animates automatically every 15min.
This combined with the 90 degree angled shapes gives the watch a really abstract feel.

TokyoFlash sells the JLr7 for 9800 yen (~$85.22) plus shipping.

Never mind the 1.9 miilion you could spend on a Patek, here on eBay, you could buy piece of history. That’s right, a launch watch for the Nintendo Wii. According to the auctioner only 200 of these bad boys were ever made (read rebadged) and could be yours for a paltry 60 quid.

Bored of the same old dial-faced or digital numbered watches?  Looking to tell time a little differently?  How about a binary watch?  1HE 0NE has a few just for you in a few different styles and different prices.

Depending on your choice of style, 1HE 0NE (actually “The One”.  don’t worry, we only expected orthodox geeks to get it) has watches ranging from $79 to $199.  The least expensive is the Samui Moon, which comes with a stainless steel band and case.  The LED elucidates the hours (8-4-2-1) and minutes in (32-16-8-4-2-1).  The $159 Ibiza Ride displays time that looks like volume bars on a stereo system.  That’s gotta be a conversation piece.  The high-end Kerala Trance is a leather band watch accompanied by a stainless steel case, and there are several other styles from which to choose.

The RareMonoShop’s new FMP is a pretty bad mamajama.  Coexisting a world toting MP3’s with audio recording devices and digital cameras in a phone, this mega FMP3 watch records up to a gigabyte of lengthy conversations.

Looking no different than your average handsome watch, this device records audio directly from CD players, or even a radio, with or without a computer (USB 2.0 and Windows or Mac); it contains an FM transmitter allowing you to enjoy music through your car’s stereo system.   Coming in two models, the JPY16 comes with 1GB memory at 16,800 yen ($143 US) and the JPY12 comes with 500MB of memory at 12,800 yen ($109).

Cool Biohazard Watch by Tokyoflash The Biohazard wrist scanner probes the immediate vicinity for Alien DNA & displays the results so that you may assess the threat level. At least the Biohazard Watch from Tokyoflash looks like it would detect alien life forms.

The Biohazard watch uses an advanced color LCD display to simulate the effect you might see on Mr Spocks tri-corder or in many Science Fiction films. The readout, in fact, tells the time by counting the colored segments.

TokyoFlash sells this cool watch for ~$138.26 plus shipping. TokyFlash ships international of course.

The TAG Heuer Monaco V4 Concept Watch After being mesmerized by their video (check it out here), we had to undoubtedly do a write-up on Tag Heuer’s innovative Monaco V4 .

This swank’n lank’n watch is not only a conversation piece, but captures features like a belt driven “oscillating linear weight that falls back and forth within the central shaft transporting energy to the four ball bearing barrels.”   Beyond contemporary, this complex, yet handsomely crafted watch is topped with beveled edge sapphire glass, and strapped to an alligator with folding buckle band. It can be brought to you sheathed in a stainless steel case.

Bell & Ross pays tribute to France’s Naval Air Service with its new limited edition chronograph.  Arriving in a stainless steel case, this dark and wicked-faced watch measures 41mm x 14.5mm.  Choose from either the bracelet or the leather wrist strap.

Girard Perregaux’s rights have been snatched by Panerai.  Panerai has just taken over the Ferrari rights in branded watch dials long held by Girard Perreguax.

Chopard has produced the Mille Miglia watch in admiration to the Italian race car event. Omega begot  the Schumacher, Tag Heuer begot the Formula one, Porsche Design's company is focused on the performance car name and famous designer.
