How do you think the visually impaired tell what time it is? Well with the new solar powered braille watch of course. Jeonjun Cho of Kyungki University in Korea has developed a braille clock collection consisting of a very fashionable watch and necklace. The necklace and watch share the same readout, which is composed of "dots, lines, and planes," all basic factors of creating braille numbers.
So if you know someone who is visually impaired and they are tired of using that talking Simpsons watch from Burger King this fashionable and practical new watch might be just what they are looking for.
