Tag Heuer Shows Off Calibre 360's Timekeeping Precision

Apparently TAG Heuer is so proud of its Carrera Calibre 360 watch and its amazing precision that they decided to show it off in a very interesting way. They sent 10 European watch journlists to an F1 race and allowed them to use the Cal 360 to become "official timekeepers" for Team McLaren Mercedes.

They even made a contest out of it. From the press release: "The contest organized between journalists was a testimonial to the interest of the 1/100 of a second in manual timing, and to the unique accuracy of the Calibre 360. The 2 winners were at 5/100th from the official electronics timing system!"

The 360 offers precision of 1/100th of a second and is billed as the "first ever 1/100th of a second mechanical chronograph".
