Japanese Wristwatch Shop Tokyoflash offers a new LED display wristwatch - the Diode by Saishin.
The wristwatche features 84 LED lights to tell the time in a unique way. The watch measures 3.5cm in square. It is made of Japanese stainless steel. The Minute and hour lights light up one at a time until they reach the time, then pause, so you can tell the time, and retract.
This type of LED wristwatch is similar to the PIMP line of LED watches (Barcode SS, Star Performer) we reported about.
The Saishin Diode wristwatch sells for 13900 yen (~135USD) at Japanese Wristwatch export store TokyoFlash.
Gizmodo just published a story about the rare Tokima Digi-Robot Watch. (see photo). RareWatches.net has a whole selection of vintage and retro digital wristwatches. This is a very cool site. Lots of the watches are sold out, but there some real interesting ones available. We reported in May about another store that sells 70s LED Watches.
We reported about the announcement of the Swatch Paparazzi MSN Direct Smart Watch in October. The WatchReport published a detailed review of the first Swatch MSN Direct Wristwatch.
Quote:
"If Nicolas Hayek (CEO of Swatch) or Bill Gates were reading this right now, they would probably be disappointed. The Paparazzi was always intended to be cool, not geeky. Cool watches have names like 'Paparazzi' while geeky watches have names like 'DataReceptor HK-3842.' Allow me to address this issue head-on. The coolness of the Paparazzi will likely be dictated by context. On me, it's a tad geeky because I provide a somewhat geeky backdrop. And whenever anyone asks about the watch, I make the mistake of gushing about its technical merits rather than my ability to find out about hot new club openings in real-time.

German watch maker Venxx created a wristwatch that can spray parfume.
At the back of the watch case is a tiny tank that can be filled with the perfume of choice by using a funnel (comes with the watch). The content will last for approximately 60 uses. The first collection consists of 15 watches in four different designs. Each Perfume Watch carries a water resistant watch case made of stainless steel and is run by a Swiss quality movement.

Fossil introduced new Wrist Net Smart Watches as we reported two weeks ago.
WristWatchReview has a comprehensive Review of the new Fossil Abacus AU-4003.
Quote:
"Priced at $129 and made entirely in China, the Abacus is cheap and sturdy enough to become a regular in any wearer’s rotation. Is this the Next Big Thing that Gates and his minions portend? By no means. SPOT is a fun tool for getting weather, sports, and news and is clearly a means to entrenching Microsoft in the wireless space without much initial investment. Will they succeed? Who knows, but what’s nice is that when they do succed, your wrist will beep as the news rolls in and you will be pulled away from the dull drudgery of driving or open heart surgery to check your handsome, and functional, watch."

The latest ABACUS Wrist Net Smart Watch styles (shown below) are priced at a MSRP of $129.00 USD.

The Dior Homme Chiffre Rouge incorporates the automatic mechanical movement "El Primero" by Zenith, the supposedly the most precise movement in the world. A tiny diamond is hidden on its reverse side.
The date indicator is red for enhanced visibility. The winder crowns and the push-piece to reset the chronograph are in red ceramic. Not sure what the price of the Chiffre Rouge is. It is not mentioned in the LVMH (owner of Dior) news article.
