Porsche Design announced a futuristic chronograph with combined mechanical-digital chronometer display - The Porsche Design Indicator. The idea to develop the Porsche Design super-chronograph was born as early as the end of 2000 by Eterna’s CEO Ernst F. Seyr. The design of the watch is in line with the spectacular new Porsche Carrera GT. The mechanical high-end watch is able to display as it shows stopped time intervals up to nine hours and 59 minutes in large digits. Besides the stop function it also features a power reserve indicator. It uses a slightly curved 42 mm sapphire crystal for dramatic dial display. The price is said to be 65,000Euros. Porsche Design.
